A Dutch delegation led by mayor of Oisterwijk city Hans Janssen visited the Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Work with Diaspora. During the meeting with deputy chairman of the State Committee Valeh Hajiyev, the sides discussed present situation of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Netherlands.
Janssen noted Azerbaijanis living in Netherlands actively participate in socio-economic and cultural life of the country. “Their activity plays an important role in development of relations between the two countries and nations,” he added.
The parties also exchanged views on opening of the new park in Oisterwijk as part of celeberations of the 800th anniversary of the city, The park is planned to be named after Azerbaijani hero Mammad Mammadov. The Dutch delegation’s visit will last till July 30.
