Azerbaijani national named honorary citizen of Kharkiv

Azerbaijan`s Seyfaddin Gurbanov has been named an honorary citizen of Kharkiv.
The decision was made at a session of the Kharkiv regional council.

People`s painter of Ukraine, Gurbanov is a member of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine Friendship Society and also heads the sculpture department at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.

Gurbanov was honored for his contribution to “strengthening the region`s image on an international scale”.
