Baku restaurant opened in Rotterdam

'Baki' restaurant has been opened in Rotterdam, the largest city of Netherlands. Members of the Parliament, representatives of the embassies participated in the event. The owners of the restaurant said the main aim is to popularize Azerbaijani culture.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Netherlands Fuad Isgandarov praised the opening of the Baki restaurant as a momentous event. A memorial to Khojaly Genocide was erected in Hague, one of the streets of Rotterdam was named in honor of Baku. Besides, a park after Mammad Mammadov, the hero of the World War II, is expected to open in Netherlands in 2012.
