Asim Mollazadeh resigned from APFP

"I am leaving Azerbaijan Popular Front Party. That is due to the existence of some diversity of opinions between me and the party members. I don't want to cause damage to the work of the party; I have come through a long way in this party. There are my friends in the party."
These were told by Asim Mollazadeh in the briefing to the journalists in Milli Mejlis (parliament). A.Mollazadeh said he had no relations with the party for along time, he almost had not visited the party since the last presidential elections: "If I left the party one the eve of the lat election these steps would have had effect to the processes".

Stating that he will continue his political activity after that, A.Mollazadeh said he will serve to bring European values to Azerbaijan. As for his resignation, the ex-deputy   said he did it willingly and will give wide information about his political activity directions soon.

Deputy Chairman of APFP (i) Jamil Hasanli expressed short attitude to Asim Mollazadeh's resignation: "I respect his decision. Citizens are free in their choices"
