Exactly to say, Israel, which needs its energy needs from import, wants to avail itself of crude oil export to the world market to be started in the near future on Port Ceyhan.
In this connection, the cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Israel may have positive results on the principle of mutual benefits. Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, Israeli Energetics and Infrastructure Minister has stated in his speech at International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition 2006 Conference today.
On his words, Israel thinks about giving Azerbaijan an opportunity to export oil to the Central East countries through its area. The Minister assumes that Azerbaijani oil will cost less in comparison to African oil for less transport costs which would attract importers, APA reports.
