Teachers' activity in Azerbaijan to be licensed

Proposals have already been prepared on adding it to the draft law on education.

If the proposal is approved the mechanism of licensing will be prepared. The aim of licensing teachers' activity is to determine the level of their knowledge and methodology.

Education Ministry told the APA that the teachers can work after getting diplomas at present. But when licensing is applied it will be possible to determine teachers' knowledge and the level of methodology and only after that they will be allowed to continue their activity.
