Emergencies Ministry sends assistance to windstorm-hit regions

Emergency Situations Ministry has sent 25 trucks of construction materials to the regions damaged by strong windstorm on February 24-25.

Deputy Minister Orujali Hajiyev told APA that 8,000 roofing slates, 2,000 sq m of glass, 70 cu m of wood and 1,100 iron covers.

The assistance has been sent to Aghdam, Barda, Aghjabadi, terter, Yevlakh, Goychay and Zardab. The next assistance will be sent to Kheki, Gakh, Ismayilli and Shamakhi after assessment.
