Azerbaijani ombudsman visiting country's South

According to Day.Az, Elmira Suleymanova started her visit to Astara with the visit to the preliminary detention facility of Astara, where she familiarized with the detainment conditions of prisoners.

Later, the meeting with the regional community was held in the building of the executive powers of Astara. The meeting was also attended by officials, representing different structures of the Astara region.

During the meeting, the ombudsman shared information about the powers of the structure she heads and methods of dealing with people's complaints. Complaints of the session participants were heard.

Elmira Suleymanova currently holds meetings in Lenkoran.
