Siyavush Novruzov: "The Azerbaijani parliament will soon discuss financing of political parties"

Several parties have submitted a draft law on financing of the political parties to the parliament and this issue will probably be discussed at one of the next sessions, said Siyavush Novruzov, deputy executive secretary of the Yeni Azerbaijan party.

He noted that along with financing the political parties, the agenda includes the issue of changing the law "On political parties".

"The parliamentary commission on legal policy and state construction received draft laws, proposed by the parties and the due work is held here. The international practice, registration of the parties and so on will be taken into account in this issue", said he.
