Claim of Azadlyg newspaper correspondent Agil Halil filed to European court

"The claim says that Agil Halil was beaten by officials of the Ministry of National Security, not Sergey Strekalin: the latter did not stab Agil Halil: the responsible persons were not brought to criminal responsibility and so on", said Ahmedov.

He noted that the claim to the European Court was submitted yesterday.

"It fixes the violation of due articles of the European convention of human rights", said Ahmedov.

As for Agil Halil's return, he noted that Halil wants to return to Azerbaijan.

"He was offered a refuge in France, but he rejected it. Agil Halil just prolonged the term of his visa, which expires in late December", concluded Ahmedov.
