Number of AIDS-infected rising day by day in Azerbaijan

AIDS has recently covered 8 regions of the country, said Arzu Guliyeva, national coordinator of UN bureau on combat with drugs and crime, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
"These are the southern regions of the country, Baku, Sumgayir, Shirvan, Hajigabul and others. Moreover, this disease is actively revealed in all regions of the country", she told on Wednesdays.

She said, over 1,340 AIDS-infected is registered in Azerbaijan and "their number of growing day by day".

This disease is mostly spread among drug addicts, as well as bullies and imprisoned persons.
