December 31, as well as January 1 and 2 are declared nonworking this year in Azerbaijan by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, said sources from the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
According to them, on December 31 Azerbaijan marks the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World, while January 1 and 2 the New Year holiday. As is reported the decision about it was adopted in 2007 while defining holidays and nonworking days in the country for 2008.
It should be noted that January 3 and 4 fall on Saturday and Sunday and in this connection five days in the country will be nonworking.
