Azerbaijan and Dagestan sign memorandum on youth policy

"The memorandum was signed by Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov and Dagestan's Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Gapiz Gapizov. Upon the memorandum, different actions in youth policy will be held over 2009-2010," the Ministry of Youth and Sports said on April 2.

Dagestan intends to adopt Azerbaijani experience in youth policy, Dagestan's Deputy Minister of Youth Gapizov said at the meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport Rahimov.

Rahimov invited Dagestan's sportsmen for training in Azerbaijan.

The delegation headed by Dagestan's Deputy Minister of Youth Gapiz Gapizov is on visit in Azerbaijan from April 1-3. The visit aims to familiarize with youth policy conducted by Azerbaijan. The Dagestan's delegation will hold a meeting with youth organizations.

Azerbaijan has agreements on cooperation in youth policy and sports with 50 countries.
