International conference 'Germans in Azerbaijan' to take place on Baku

The conference will be organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Baku Slavic University and German-Azerbaijani society. The event will bring together the representatives of the universities of Germany, Denmark, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the State Committee for Diaspora of Azerbaijan reported on April 3.

During the conference, reports will be delivered on such themes as "Russian Empire, school of Elenendorf and the history of one family", " German archeologists in Azerbaijan", " Germans interned in Turkey during the World War II", etc. Within the event the guests will get familiarized with the German monuments in Baku and meetings will be held with the students in the German Training and Culture Center at Baku Slavic University.
