One day of life in Baku, one day of spring in Baku with new colors and stories …










One of the fairytales that Azerbaijani kids grow up with is “Shangulum - Shungulum”. The kids’ favourite Puppet Theatre is a great place to see their favourite characters enliven.





The  16th Century Maktab-Masjid located in the Old City, is now a book store. Young readers hold the first book club in Russian language of love story "Ali and Nino”, written by Kurban Said.



Azerbaijan showed support to World Autism Day “Light It Up Blue action”. Heydar Aliyev Foundation, together with UNICEF, lit up the Baku Business Centre (the Eurovision Centre) blue aiming to raise autism awareness among Azerbaijanis.



Baku at night and Baku in a day time are two different towns. The city is like a girl; modern, crazy, hyper teenager during the day time, turns into attractive, coy and glamorous lady at night.



Thick fog coming from the Caspian Sea covered the sea coastal zone under the romantic fog blanket.



"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent” (Victor Hugo). The concert of Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli did just that.




Azerbaijan is a secular Muslim country. And Baku is home to many historical religious monuments, including temples, mosques, churches and synagogues.




Spring time is time to fall in love. Birds singing, flowers blooming, sun is smiling, sea breeze is caressing… Love is everywhere in Baku…



The concert of the pop-band “Gradusi” was one of the entertainment highlights of the week. Hundreds people kicked off their weekend at this concert at Buta Palace.


One can fond a number of things in Baku that are associated with fire, even parties! La Villa Club decided to light everyone’s fire with an outstanding Spring Fire Party
