Buranovskiye Babushki with their song “Party for Everybody” will represent Russia at the 57th Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. The Russian representative for Eurovision Song Contest, along with the official delegation of Russia will leave for Baku on May 13.
Babushki will bring to Baku the ancient costumes, accessories made of silver coins and flour. The singers will not only sing on the stage but also bake some biscuits to treat audience.
Buranovskiye Babushki, the musical band from Udmurtiya, will perform under the number 14 at the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2012, which will be held on May 26 at the sage of Crystal Hall in Baku. At the final of Eurovision Buranovskiye Babushki will show their new number, which they have rehearsed for a month.
The song “Party for everybody” was recorded by Evro Record studio, part of National Music Corporation lead by Victor Drobysh, composer of Russian Eurovision entry 2005. Udmurt lyrics were written by members of the band themselves.
