Energy generation rose 6.9% in July

As APA reports, during this period thermal power plants generated 1.5bn kilowatt/h and water power stations generated 0.2bn kilowatts/h.

Besides, energy exchange was carried out with Russia, Iran and Turkey on the schedule in this period.

According to the information, 77.9mn kilowatts/h was imported from Russia, 17mn kilowatts/h from Turkey and 37mn kilowatts/h from Iran.

14.2bn kilowatts/h of power energy was totally generated during January-July in Azerbaijan. Thermal power plants generated 12.4bn kilowatts/h of electrical energy and water power plants 1.8bn kilowatts/h.

During this period 1.06bn kilowatts/h of energy was imported. This figure is a 12% decrease as against the same period last year.
