B&BTV to be sued

Azerbaijan's National TV and Radio Council (NTRC) appealed to the local Economic Court #1 by the claim to ban B&B cable television broadcasting in Baku.

NTRC chairman Nushiravan Meherremli told the APA about the existing problems problems in establishment of television. Despite the NTRC warning, they did not made changes in the relevant documents By Azerbaijani law, state body cannot possess television. 30% of B&BTV shares belongs to 'Bakuteleradio' production. Therefore, the NTRC appealed to court.
