Azerbaijan to continue cooperation with IMF and WB

Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov met with IMF's reprehensive Augustine Carstens and World Bank's representative Greyem Weller in Singapore.

Finance Ministry's press service told APA that issues on current position of Azerbaijan's economy, development and priorities were discussed at the meeting.

He said Azerbaijan is very interested to continuing cooperation with the IMF and WB.

The both representatives highly appreciated economic achievements of Azerbaijan. They said it is necessary to decrease the dependence of the economy on oil factor and they are ready to support Azerbaijan in this way.
