Sabir Aliyev: "That European States banned Azeri nut exports is false"

"If Azeri exports had been banned, the Agriculture Ministry of Azerbaijan would have been informed of the facts. We haven't received any appeal," Agriculture Ministry officer Sabir Aliyev told.

He said Azerbaijan still exports walnut and hazelnut to the European Countries. Turkish Companies are engaged in collection and exportation of these products in Azerbaijan.

Information has spread by media recently that European Countries banned walnut and hazelnut exports produced in northwestern regions of Azerbaijan, claiming that these products cause liver cancer, APA reports.
