Georgian President regarded Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decision on gas delivery to Georgia as heroism.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev agreed to the gas delivery despite Russia's threats. It is a heroic decision," he stated.
Mikhail Saakashvili mentioned Azerbaijan's support a year ago when Georgia was blockaded. Azerbaijan cut off gas supply of some consumers and provided Georgia with gas.
"Azerbaijan proved to be a devoted friend of Georgia once more. Azerbaijan made a decision to deliver gas to Georgia from next year in spite of a number of difficulties," he noted.
He also stated that Turkey's giving some part of its quota from Shah Deniz to Georgia is of great significance for Tbilisi.
