Azerbaijan Armed Forces Assistance Fund has collected AZN 3.03mln and $65 188 so far.

Azerbaijan Armed Forces Assistance Fund has been formed according to the president's decree in 17 August 2002. It is financed by means of voluntary donations by individual and legal bodies and legal incomes. The finance may be used for the development of military logistics, production of military equipments, their testing, repair and modernization, military research, purchase of military equipment, ammunition and social problems of military servants, Defense Ministry information service told APA.
