Inflationary tendency to go on in March

Inflation rate stood at 6.4% in January and gained 1.3% during the past period of February, said Chairman of State Statistical Committee Arif Valiyev.

He said the tendency will also go on during March. He didn't agree with independent experts' calculation that inflation rate hit 14% in January, APA reports.

"They don't take account of price fluctuation and price fall. They should also have monitored the situation in regions," he noted.
