Standard Insurance becomes Open Joint Stock Company

Standard Insurance LLC has changed to Open Joint Stock Company by the decision of shareholders.

Chairperson of Management Board, Kamal Ibrahimov said the move will further boost the insurer's development.

Established by the AB Standard Group of Companies in October, 2002, Standard Insurance’s authorized capital reached AZN 4m.
 
It provides services over 4 compulsory and 21 voluntary insurance at present. By the statistics at the year-end, Standard Insurance was the leader on the local market for motor insurance, APA reports.
