Emergencies Ministry prepares measures to protect against natural and man-made disasters

Deputy Emergencies Minister Faig Tagizadeh said that they started to prepare measures to prevent overflow in the river Kyur.

Pumps are being cleaned and the site is being reconstructed, APA reports.

Tagizadeh said that after the known explosion in Sumgayit Synthesis Caoutchouc plant, all industrial enterprises have been strongly ordered to observe safety rules.

"Heads of some enterprises do not pay much attention to this. The local offices of the ministry have been given instructions, and these enterprises are being inspected," he said.
