Social assistance benefits rise AZN 5 from March

Effective March 1, the targeted social assistance benefits rise AZN 5 for every member of the vulnerable families.

Azerbaijan's Labor and Social protection Ministry Officer Natig Gasimov told APA-Economics that the move comes after the utilities price hike and is aimed at mitigating the social impact of utility sector reform.

At present 45,527 families receive targeted social assistance benefit in Azerbaijan.
