Rovnag Abdullayev says no restrictions on gas supply to population

No restrictions on gas supply to population were set forth in the Azerbaijan's energy balance for 2007.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said the amount of gas used to flow to Azerenergy was reduced as fuel oil consumption increased in electricity generation, APA reports.

"We reoriented power stations to run on fuel oil which used to be fuelled by Russian gas we refused to pay for," he said.
