Number of trains to be reduced in Baku Metro in Novruz Holiday

Baku Metro will work on special schedule on the eve of the national holiday Novruz.

The number of trains will be reduced to 20 from 24. The interval between the trains will be prolonged. The interval between Baku Soveti-Sahil, Memar Ajami-Nizami stations will be 6 minutes, 28 May-Hazi Aslanov will be three minutes. The cause of reduce of trains is due to the less public use of metro during holidays.

At present, 500 000 passengers use metro a day. The number of the passengers is 400,000 on Saturdays and nearly 350,000 on Sundays. APA
