President Aliyev approves SOCAR & RussNeft PSA

Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has issued an executive order on approval of the PSA between SOCAR, SOCAR Joint Company and RussNeft on the development and restoration of the Zigh and Hovsan onshore oilfield.

November 3, 2006, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR (75%) and Russian oil firm RussNeft (25%) signed a production sharing agreement (PSA) to develop two oil fields of Azerbaijan - Hovsan and Zykh onshore oilfields in Azerbaijan. APA
