Azerbaijan to dismantle old offshore platforms

State Oil Company (SOCAR) intends to dismantle old offshore platforms.

Company Vice-President Khoshbekht Yusifzade told APA that the oil extraction platforms will be replaced with new ones.

"We have built several new platforms. Some are very old and obsolete. It is planned to dismantle them," he noted.
