Cargo transit up 6.1% in Azeri part of TRACECA

Cargo transportation in Azerbaijani part of Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) reached 3.9mln tonnes in January, up 6.1% from a year earlier.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that Azerbaijan earned AZN 18.4mln from goods and passenger carrying in January (year-on-year rise 10.6%), which came 64.1% from railway, 15.1% from sea and 20.8% from auto transportation.
