Georgia to pay Azerbaijan for electricity imported

Georgia will pay off its debt to Azerbaijan for electricity impost by this year's end in the form of electrical power.

Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgarov said Georgia is currently transferring electricity to Azerbaijan or this purpose, APA reports.

Georgia had owed Azerbaijan 32mln kilowatts of electricity since late 1990s but it amortized its debt by 12mln kilowatts in 2006.
