The SOCAR, State Oil Company, told APA that 646,730 tons of oil (100%) were produced by Oil and Gas Units, and 100,310 tonnes (99.4%) by joint ventures and operating companies.
A total of 2,190,900 tons of oil against the planned 2,170,000 tons were produced during the first quarter with a surplus of 1%.
2,216,210 tons of oil (98.9%) were extracted in the first quarter, 2006.
The Company delivered 745,090 tons of oil against the planned 740,570 tons (100.6%) in March. A total of 2,165,870 tons of oil against the target of 2,150,000 were delivered during the January-March period.
Oil production prediction is 8,800,000 tonnes and delivery forecast is 8,720,000 tonnes for 2007.
