Turkey hosts ECO Ministerial meeting

Azerbaijan was represented by Finance Minister Samir Sherifov in the meeting where the delegation from 10 member countries participated, APA reports.

The meeting was chaired by Turkey's Finance Minister Kamal Unakitan. Azerbaijani Minister informed the attendees about the Azerbaijan’s economic policy, achievements, and implemented projects of international importance and stressed the importance of regional economic -financial cooperation.

Antalya Communiqu? on development of multilateral economic relations was adopted at the end of the meeting.

ECO was founded in 1967 by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. Seven more countries including Azerbaijan joined the organization in 1992.
