BSC: "The Company has not reduced 200 employees"

Baku Steel Company (BSC) has not reduced 200 employees. BSC official for press service Namig Ahmadov told that the workers were fired after handing in their notice.

"At the beginning of the year there were 200 employees, at present their number is 1800. This is related with problems occurred in metals procurement. Because most of these workers ere procurers," he said.

To restore the annual productivity capacity of the company which is 350 000 tonnes, 1400 tonnes raw material is needed.

BSC has stopped to operate for a short time because of raw material shortage, APA reports.
