Audit organizations of Azerbaijan to sign agreements with Romania, Poland and Ukraine

AAC's Chairman Vahid Novruzov told APA-Economics that draft agreements are already ready and on May 10-12 signing ceremony will be held in Baku with Romania's accounting institution.

The signing ceremony with Poland will take place in annual meeting of European Auditors and Accouters in Warsaw from May 28 to 30.

Novruzov noted that AAC concluded some agreement on cooperation with audit-accounting institutions of some countries in order to apply financial controls system. The auditor institutions of Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, Canada and Slovakia are among these countries.

AAC chairman stressed that the chamber continues to cooperate with international organizations and is negotiating with the World Bank on technical assistance.

As for the results of 2006, AAC conducted nearly 3800 audits.
