Azersun Holding to build a salt plant in Baku

"The construction works will start in the nearest future. It is slated to invest some $7 million in the plant with possible annual capacity of 200 tons of salt. The plant can also iodinate rock salt for livestock. The final products can also be exported to Georgia and Dagestan," said Azersun President Abdulbari Gozel.

He added that the company intends to delivers its exports to Russian market. "We have some marketing and sales plans in Russia. At the same time, we are building a vegetable oil producing plant in Georgia," he noted. APA
