Azerbaijan lifts ban on U.S. poultry

Azerbaijan's agriculture minister said Tuesday his country has lifted its embargo on U.S. poultry meat.

The ministry halted imports after outbreaks of bird flu in some U.S. states during the winter, Ismet Abbasov said.

"All restrictions have been removed, as the countries from which we import poultry meat are not the areas of bird flu concern," Abbasov said. RIA Novosti
