"Energy in a changing world" conference to be held at UNESCO

Delegations from 200 countries, including Azerbaijan have been invited to the conference.

Meetings on energy challenges, role of science in sustainable energy development, reduction of energy poverty will be held in the conference.

Director General of UNESCO Koichiro Matsuura, Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko and other officials will address the conference.

An appeal will be prepared for the summit of the G8 to be held in Heiligendamm, Germany. APA
