5-year-old resident of Bahmanlar settlement in Azerbaijan's Ganja city Movsum Alakbarov has extra toes on his lower and upper limbs. Movsum has one extra finger on each of the upper and lower extremities. So, it total, he has 24 fingers.
However, this does not cause constraint of his movements. Movsum goes to kindergarten, draws, that is, it makes him no different from his "normal" peers.
The boy's father Jamshid says they were advised to have Movsum’s extra fingers removed surgically, but they refuse it especially because doctors say the extra toes does not mean the boy has some disease.
