World post union considers issue of post stamps of "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" as illegal

The agency Trend reports, the minister of communications and information technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov informed the journalists about this.

He said, after Azerbaijan applied to the World Post Union on adoption of corresponding measures against Unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh republic, this organization defined its position in favor of Azerbaijan.

Abbasov informed, the general director of post union Edward Dayan announced for all administrations of post structures of the world, issue of post stamps is realized on illegal basis and this is not admissible.

"WPU decided, these measures may be accomplished only with permission of Azerbaijan. Though Karabakh is occupied, but nevertheless is the territory of Azerbaijan-concluded the minister.
