Ashraf Mehdiyev: “In any case opposition will not achieve real result”

Leader of Geyrat Party Ashraf Mehdiyev has told about it to APA.

He accepted normal the participation of the other opposition parties in the election. ”Everybody should be involved in anything. But in any case opposition will not achieve any real result”. Stating the complex situation in the country A.Mehdiyev does not consider real any cooperation with opposition parties to be possible.

“Because opposition parties have left me in trouble whenever. In 2002 coordination bloc of the opposition was organized, then I was told to organize holding of meeting. Some hours before the beginning of the meeting they decided not to hold action. I was in trouble, but we announced that we would go on. In the action I saw that there were none of the persons who made decision together with me. And the TV showed the empty “Motodrom” saying look This is Ashraf Mehdiyev’s meeting. It is true that I could overcome that disgrace, I proved that it was not our fault. And I do not want to experiment the same once more”.

Not believing to opposition A.Mehdiyev therefore refused the persons addressing to be represented in the blocs.He stressed that he will not any unity any more.
