Bob Menendez, a former senator, fraudster and henchman of
the Armenians, who was recently sentenced to 11 years in prison, hopes for
Donald Trump. Inspired by the fact that the new president will broadly annul
all decisions made under the previous administration, Menendez hopes that he
will be able to suck up to Trump and his team, showing that the Southern
District of New York that sentenced him has turned into a "Wild West of
political persecution" under Biden.
"I am innocent and I look forward to my appeal on a number
of issues," the rogue senator wrote. In his tearful message, he writes
that "this whole process was nothing more than a political witch hunt by
the National Security Department of the Ministry of Justice and prosecutors,
who are more interested in political scalps and are preparing to run for
political office." According to Menendez, "illegal evidence" was
used during the trial, and witness testimony was obtained in exchange for
evading criminal prosecution.
Hoping that after Biden's refusal to pardon him, Trump would
do so, Menendez addressed President Trump directly at the end of his speech.
"President Trump is right. This process is political in nature and corrupt
to the core. I hope President Trump clears this cesspool and restores the
integrity of the system," writes sycophant Bob Menendez, hoping that his
tearful message will reach the new president.
The American media noted that Trump has the authority to
pardon him, but so far has not given any indication that he is going to do so.
Moreover, Danielle Sassoon, the new acting head of the U.S. Attorney's Office
for the Southern District of New York, said that the sentences of Menendez and
his two co-defendants "are a clear signal that attempts at any level of
government to corrupt the country's foreign policy and the rule of law will be
met with just punishment."
According to The New York Times, when Menendez was indicted
16 months ago, he served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,
one of the most influential posts in Washington. This position gave him great
influence on foreign military aid and international politics. And during the
nine-week trial that ended last summer, federal prosecutors highlighted the
numerous ways in which Mr. Menendez used that power.
What Menendez hopes for in such a situation is not very
clear. He probably expects to play on sycophancy.
And the funny thing is that this fraudster himself voted
twice to convict Trump during the impeachments in 2019 and 2021, although the
accusations had no real basis. And now I've suddenly seen the light...
