US worried about pressure upon press in Azerbaijan

US government is worried about the latest events connected to pressure upon Azerbaijan's press, American Embassy Public Officer Jonathan Henick stated.

According to him, violence to journalists, murder of Elmar Guseynov, the latest case of satirist Sakit Mirza is the continous topic of talks with Azerbaijani government.

"We call the Azerbaijani governmernt to fulfill its obligations and commintments about freedom of speech and press," Henick told in the exlusive interview to Day.Az.

At the same time, Jonathan Henick congratulated Azerbaijani journalists on professional holiday.
