Israeli parliamentarians to visit Azerbaijan

Sofa Landver representing the party "Israel is our home" and Amnon Koen the member of "Shas" party will participate in the 28th plenary session of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.

Israel has an observer status in the BSCEO.

Taking into consideration the geographical proximity with the member states, Israel takes great interest in the activity of the organization and has been an observer to many plenary sessions, APA reports.

The members of Knesset are expected to meet will Azerbaijani officials.

They will meet with Parliament speaker Ogtay Asadov, the chief of State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov and Foreign Ministry officials. Israeli parliamentarians are also expected to meet with the leaders of Jewish communities.

Within their visit to Azerbaijan the parliamentarians will participate in the "Week of Jewish Films".
