Presidents of Belarus, Ukraine and Azerbaijan discuss energy security

The presidents of Belarus, Ukraine and Azerbaijan are discussing energy security in Minsk.

"We agreed with Azerbaijan to discuss energy problems during the CIS summit in Minsk," Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said at the beginning of the meeting.

"We have a large potential for cooperation, in particularly, in the energy sphere," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

"Energy relations are strategic for Ukraine," Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said. "We have agreed on electricity supplies to Belarus. We also discuss the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline and its use by Belarussian refineries."
