Turkmenistan is firmly convinced that for realization of pipeline projects on the bottom of Caspian Sea it is enough the agreement of those countries through which the sea-bed pipelines will be laid.
The Turkmen mass-media reported on this referring to words of the president of the country Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
As the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports, the head of the state also noted that realization of similar projects is possible if the highest international ecological norms and standards will be observed. According to G. Berdymuhamedov, "The Caspian is a unique natural reservoir, for destiny of which all countries of Caspian region are responsible”".
As the local media reports, G. Berdymuhamedov taking part on November 18 in the Caspian Summit, has charged the heads of the organizations in corresponding spheres carefully to study all questions, concerning the Caspian problems and development of effective partnership in region.
The European Union is connected with Turkmenistan, in particular with its gas resources on stocks of which the country is behind only Russia, Iran and Qatar, the possibility of diversification of raw sources. Perspective is considered the project of construction of the Trans-Caspian pipeline which will connect Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, and will allow passing through Turkey on the European market. The experts consider that with this direction the pipeline project of Nabukko actives of which have considerably grown after the large oil and gas companies of the USA and the West, came to the Turkmen market.
