President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Orthodox Community of Azerbaijan

President administration stated that congratulating all Christian community of Azerbaijan, Mr. Aliyev stressed that Easter was one of large-marked religious rite in the republic.

The appeal says that Christian community of Azerbaijan does its utmost and shows real citizenship stance to strengthening of the independence of Azerbaijan and successful realization of legal-democratic state formation.

"I am hopeful that all Azerbaijani citizens will carry out their citizenship duty proudly and will do their best to further progress and happy future of Azerbaijan irrespective of their language, religion and ethnic background."

Further President congratulated Rome Pope Benedict XVI on anniversary of his crowning ceremony as well, APA reports.
