President Aliyev addressed World Azerbaijanis Intellectuals Congress Forum participants

World Azerbaijanis Intellectuals Congress Forum has launched its work in Antalia, Turkey.

APA associate reports from the Forum that, in the opening ceremony of the Forum Azerbaijani and Turkey state anthems sounded, founder of Turkey Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and late President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev's memory was commemorated with a minute of silence.

President's Office social-political department chief has announced address of Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev's appeal to forum participants. It was stated in the statement that, Azerbaijani government always focuses the strengthening of Azerbaijani Diaspora.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev has informed that at present 6.308 historical monuments in Azerbaijan, 65 of which is of world significance. Only one of them Icherisheher complex is preserved by UNESCO.

President's Office social–political department Chief Ali Hasanov considered necessity of the whole Azerbaijanis living over the world to be active.

In the first day of the Forum, culture and art figures of Azerbaijan, cinematograph Ogtay Mirgasimov, people's artist Firangiz Mutallimova, editor in-chief of 525-ci gazet, Rashad Majid and other participants reports were sounded.
