Independent Azerbaijan University stopped hunger strike

The students of Independent Azerbaijan University, who started hunger strike from June 10, today have stopped hunger strike. They told about it in the press conference.

As APA reports, students Rights Defense Committee leader Elnur Mammadov said that they will hold sit–in action. University leadership wants them to leave the room where they hold an action.

Parent Guldarya Imamguliyeva taking part in the press conference said that they have applied to leader of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva. Lawyer of the students, Rashid Hajili said that claim application related to Ministry of Education will be presented to Narimanov region court July 3.

The lawyer also stated that rights of the students will be defended by Intigam Aliyev, Annagi Hajibayli, and Leyla Madatova.
